CHESTNUT STATION is located in the 400 block of Chestnut Street in Historic downtown Gadsden, AL. Founded in 1984, "the NUT", as it's commonly called, was established as a small downtown Pub with good food, live entertainment, a casual, upscale, and fun atmosphere. After 17 years and countless additions, changes, and hundreds of Bands and Entertainers, CHESTNUT STATION has emerged as "The Premiere Night Spot" in North Alabama. Among more recent additions, "the NUT" now features a beautiful outdoor courtyard, an expanded stage and dance floor, new JBL SR-X professional sound system, more games (shuffleboard, foosball, pool, darts, pinball, video games, & ping pong).

The "Chestnut Block" gained a new neighbor in 1993, PEABODY'S HIGH ENERGY DANCE CLUB. Located next door on the corner of 4th & Chestnut, PEABODY'S features 6000 watts of thunder pumping sound and state of the art lights, dance stages, cages, balcony and a "reputation" for the BEST dance music and a great crowd every Friday & Saturday night.

December 1st, 2001 was another Big day in the history of the "Chestnut Block", when the LANDMARK celebrated it's Grand Opening. Sharing the Courtyard with CHESTNUT STATION, the LANDMARK is our new facility for banquets, receptions, conventions or parties. Whether for 20 or 200, the LANDMARK & Courtyard is the perfect upscale room for your special event.
